Abe / jeff rosenthal real estate developers... Unskilled labor makes bad workemanship

3/28/00 i purchased a new construction two family home from the above. Being a first time home buyer my wife and i depended on opinion of the real estate agent from network of homes, jamaica, queens, ny. He advised us that a new construction house would be a good buy since you don't have to any problems. We blindly put our trust in him since we thought that he had our best interest however, we discovered after the closing that this was not the case.

Some of the problems which we realized before the closing have not been fixed. Since moving into this house the sewage has back up. Mold and fungus have form in the basement. The water heater is out a second time, the entrance and basement doors were not installed correctly wind and cold are coming in. Wires are exposed in and out of the house to name a few. Every week a new problem occurs.

The developer and contactor came to the house two times to look at the problems. The contactor said that he didnot have the tools and he would be back the next day. That was approximately one month ago and he has not returned.
