J&C-Iron Works I thought I was hiring professionals and they did horribly just installing and making an iron door

I hired a business to installed and make a metal/iron driveway door. I told the man in person when he came to give me an estimate I wanted something simple with no designs. He quoted me $400.00

I asked him to draw a picture of what it was going to look like to see if it was what I wanted and so he did. Three days later he came to my house while I was at work and the one who let him in was my sister. When I came home that day and saw the door, I was dissapoiinted and mad. It was not what I wanted from behind.

He painted the door very slooppy to where it was still dripping seven hours later. He burned my wall while installing it and they have three huge black/brown burn stains. The back of the metal mesh is put together in pieces that he had left over from bigger jobs.

When I called him to tell him that I was not happy with it he started telling that they were left over pieces and that there was nothing wrong with it. I told him I had not paid for pieces, I had paid for a whole mesh. He told me that was going to cost me $100.00. I told him It was not right and he hung up on me and when I call him he refuses to speak to me.

I am an elementary teacher and believe I was very polite when I talk to him and I don't think it is fair these people can so easily get away with things like this.
