Very Poor Quality of Work and Unable to Meet Promises ripoff

It all began with a beautiful picture that was painted for us by the sales rep. We signed the contract and geve them the money down.

It was soon after that we started seeing issues. 1/2 a month would pass and things we're continuously falling behind schedule. On top of that I, the customer, would have to bring up issues related to the quality of work over and over again.

False promises were made and most still haven't been met. On a regular basis I must contact the business to inform them of problems and the amount of time it takes to get these issues addressed is unbelievable.

I have been so frustrated with this company that I have filed an official complaint with the BBB and am now in the process of filing something with the State of Arizona Registrar of Contractors.

Here is a list of problems I have had with this job:

1. Plumbing leaks at the beginning phase of construction.
2. Constant delays in the construction process.
3. Weeks after a job had been completed no one had come out to inspect the work even after I had complained about plumbing being broken by other parts of the construction process, etc.
4. A promised anticipation schedule for job completion has never been provided. This was promised by the owner of the company.
5. The sales rep told me that equipment had been ordered but a week or so afterwards I called the construction coordinator and she advised me that it never had been.
6. The caprock on the waterfall was broken and it took several weeks for that to be replaced.
7. There were and are chuncks out of the acrylic deck.
8. The quality of work between the decking and the accent boulders is disgusting (I have pictures).
9. The grout job around the waterfall is falling out and the pool isn't even complete yet.
10. We have two different colored skimmer lids. I've been complaining about this for over a month now and they are still fighting me on this one.

From soon after the beginning we have had a constant battle to get what we've been promised and strive for a certain level of quality to the work being done.

NEVER EVER go with La Paz Pools for a job. From our experience this company will make your pool building experience a life of hell.
