Canyon Ridge ripoff, lies, misleads, and promises quality yet gives amateurish work at best

This problem began with the salespeople making all kinds of promises and as each month, then week, now day goes by we find a new lie they told and that the company refuses to back up. We have a 6 page list of things promised or shoddy work that was done that they claim is the best work they have ever seen. If anyone ever deals with this company, they should make sure they get everything in writing from day one and make sure they ask about the smallest details all the way down to if there will be a garbage disposal in their home or not. They should also make sure that everything they order is in the contract because even if they paid for it, and it isn't in the contract, they will not get it.

The company will make promise after promise about fixing the problems yet, you can call them every day and they will continue to make the promises, but they will not do a thing.

They claim our house is ready to move in, yet we have a huge hole in our front yard that you can actually see the septic tank through. One set of steps is hanging off the back of the house by one screw (this is after they came and fixed the steps by placing broken paving stones under them). The heater/air conditioner barely works. There is a big roll of linoleum in the middle of the floor. The whole floor of the house is covered in saw dust from putting the baseboards in after we complained about how bad the walls looked from where the carpet layers had scratched up the walls. The garage is still not finished. There are big cracks on the front of the house. The whole outside of the house is filthy from road grime and although they've promised to pressure wash and repaint certain parts, we've seen no effort made to do so. The toilets run constantly. The cabinets still look unfinished and the bottoms of the drawers don't meet the sides. We have done all we can to resolve these matters with Sun Valley and Cavco (the home manufacturer) and they continue to drag their feet on the repairs. The list goes on and on and new things present themselves every day. Today we learned there is not a garbage disposal. Wouldn't this be important information to tell a person buying a home from you?

The company has fixed some of the things from our list, but has ignored the fact that their salespeople lied to us and refuses to address certain things. They will only address things that are stated in the contract and they will only do this after they have checked the contract in every tiny detail to try to get out of fixing them. They are now claiming they have 90 business days rather than just 90 days to finish our home.
