Ripoff matress warranty denied

We purchased a Serta Perfect Night Temptation model mattress after we got married about two years ago. I noticed right away that a hole started forming where I slept and was tossing and turning more than ever. My husband who is 6'4" tall also started to notice a hole where he slept! Eventually we both were sleeping badly and my husband started to have back problems! He even went to the doctor and had an MRI because of the pain he was having. When I would scoot close to him I would notice that the middle of the bed was much higher than our "holes" where we would sleep in. Finally my husband called Star Furniture to have someone come out and look at the bed. When the guy came he looked and it and said "OH MY" and we thought for sure that we would be able to get a replacement mattress and maybe we would put in the extra money to upgrade to the next model! Then we got the phone call... Stating that we had a stain on our bed and that voided the warranty! I couldn't believe what they were telling us! I did look and there is a small stain the size of a quarter towards one side of the bed but could this really void the warranty! Now we are at a loss... As we paid over a thousand dollars for this bed and we can't sleep on it! I will continue to work with them if they answer my calls or give us some options but as of right now... I am 100% sure that they are finding any way to get out of helping us out. Why does it matter... The product is defective and should be replaced under warranty regardless of a small stain! Why would they not even attempt to make us happy Serta customers? I will never suggest Serta to any of my friends.
