Sunday as I watched TV I saw an ifomercial advertising this really neat vacuum which was as light as a gallon of milk. I need a light vacuum to take upstairs. So, I called the number and ordered. I have never had a problem ordering anything from an infomercial before and I've always been pleased with the product once received.

I agreed to pay the total $165.00 at that time instead of the 3 payments. I also gave my debit card number for the payment to be withdrawn. Just as I have with previous informercial products.

Today, April 12, the debit hit my checking account. The amount - a surprising $397.10. Wow, what an increase and very unpleasant surprise. So, I decide to call the company to find out why the price was so high. I was at work and the number I dialed to order was home so I went to the internet. First thing I find is several websites with SCAM and FRAUD written in the title beside the name of the vacuum cleaner. I read some of these and found that they were all the same as my situation except for one more surprise, they never received the product. So, I'm guessing that this almost $400.00 vacuum will never arrive at my house.

I called my bank. They immediately put a stop payment on the withdrawal because it was still in pending. However, they said most likely it would be funded anyway. Therefore, they have already begun an investigation. I will get my money back regardless. But, the bank may be out that money. Which is totally unfair for them.in this case, it amounts to nothing more than bank robbery, if they get away with it. However, according to my bank, they will not. I wish them the best. My bank is the best and I hate that they are being robbed this way.

This infomercial should be taken off the air. But, I have no idea which channel I was watching and I don't know how to report it if I did since it was a satelite channel.

This is all just SORRY news for other infomercials who will suffer, I won't trust another one, because of these criminals. Like I said before, I have always had great success with infomercial products in the past.
