Directbuy.com ripoff sneaky too secretive unprofessional

I recently viewed the Direct Buy commercial on tv. I then looked the company up online. The website online is very vague, doesn't give any information as far as the membership details and fees.

I spoke to a supervisor in Scottsdale named Ken on April 4 at 730p. I asked him about the membership and he explained he cannot disclose that information over the phone that I must attend a 'private open house'. He said that Direct Buy has an agreement with the manufacturers to not disclose membership details over the phone.

I spoke to supervisor Joe at the Direct Buy of Buffalo and he too said the same thing as Ken.

I also looked Directbuy.com on the Better Business Bureau website and Direct Buy has an unsatisfactory record. Way too many complaints.

I believe a good honest business would try to build their customer base by being open, honest, and informative in regards to their business. Since this company refuses to disclose any information unless you attend and open house, I have to say that it is too suspicious and 'too good to be true'. Buyer beware!

My advice, stick to Home Depot, Lowes, etc etc.
