My top of the line Whirlpool Gold refrigerator suddenly starting heating up, instead of cooling down in Feb.

Factory Authorized repair came, said it was a "leak" replaced the evaporator, gave it a shot of "refrigerant" and left.

Feb starting heating up again, called Whirlpool who said, "it is not our problem". It is the repair service problem.

I tell them you authorized the repair service. Yes, they say, but that is all they do. AUTHORIZED means they took a course and were given a certificate to work on Whirlpool products. It does not mean they are good at what they do. Whirlpool holds the Warranty, but the repair service holds the bag for everything else. No satisfaction from the Manufacturer Whirlpool

Repair service comes back last week, works on refrigerator for 4-6 hours. He knows there is a leak, but cannot find it, so he shoots it again with refrigerant and says if it took the charge for a year, hopefully, it will hold this charge for a year again, in spite of a slow leak, which he cannot find.

Now, the freezer is frosted, the produce bins are freezing the cucumbers, parsley, onions and potatoes.

What does Whirpool say... Take your vegetables OUT of the crisper and move them to a higher shelf. After all, you must not be operating the refrigerator properly. WHAT? After 40 years of operating refrigerators, I suddenly don't know where to put the produce??? What is your name maam, I say. She replies, you do not have my authorization to use my name... So, here I am, waiting for the 4th repairman to come and look at this top of the line, Whirlpool Gold refrigerator. I say, no more top of the line Whirlpool products for me... Go to the Whirlpool website and try, just try, to find an Executive or CEO to complain to...
The lady at Whirlpool said, "They don't take phone calls from customers." So, am I being Ripped Off?
