Mike Grzegorczyk - Security Electric Solutions
I paid him a $728 downpayment and he has disappeared with it

I paid Mike Grzegorczyk (Security Electric Solutions, San Ramon, CA) $728 on August 1 to install a patio at my house in Santa Clara, CA. This was 50% down, which is more than the legal limit in California, but I went along with it because I trusted him. We had a written contract which was negotiated over phone/fax (I never met him in person since I live in Southern Calif.).

He cashed the check, then went on a 3 or 4 week trip. He kept sending me emails saying he would get started soon with the patio. Then I didn't hear from him for a month and he wrote and said he'd been ill.

I wrote to the cc list on an email he had sent me to see if I could find him. I heard from one person who said he had just dropped by in December and was doing an estimate for them (now 4 months after I had paid him).

He has stopped answering the phone, my voicemails, his email. He took his website down and heard from someone that he moved, but I don't have a new address. He is in the wind with my $728.
