Discount Blind and Shade Factory is a terrible company to say the least! I purchased blinds on 11-04-05 and was told they would arrive in 6 weeks. I stated calling them on 12-01-05 to check the status of my order. I never got an answer from them, talk about bad customer service. Finally on 12-08-05 someone answered the phone and told me that my blinds would be in on the following day, which was Friday the ninth and that they would give me a call. Well Friday came and went, I finally went down to the location to find a sign on the door that read, "to whom it may concern Discount Blind and Shade Factory is in transition. We have filed bankruptcy under the Arizona law. If you have any questions regarding this matter to call 480-633-6970 and leave your name, address, and a detailed message." Well if you are in the same boat as me, you know that the phone is busy or you can't leave a message because the mailbox is full.

Well I believe that when we purchased these blinds from our saleman Manley Mark he known that the company was in financial trouble. Now I also know that this company was not even license or bonded after 10-31-05, which was never disclosed to me. I can't believe that Manley would continue to take your money knowing that this company was going under. I lost out on 1,055 dollars and I'm suppose to move in my new home on 12-20-05, now I have no blinds to cover my windows. I also ran into two ladies at the location, that also lost out on a lot more. This absolutely makes me disgusting!!!

If you are a victim of this company please, please do something. File a claim with the attorney general at www.azag. Gov, better business bureau, and also call news channel 5, hopefully if we get enough people to call in and tell the story they will air it. I think we all should get together and file a action suit against this company. Thanks for reading, very upset and frustrated
