I purchased A Schult-Oakwood Manufactured Homes November 28

The unit arrived, May 26
It had an electric furnace, not gas as was standard. The $772.00 stove I paid for was not installed. A much cheaper one was in its place.

After the setup crew left it was hard to believe how out of level it was. Slowly the setup went on, could not see why the wall cracks were fixed, doors hung without leveling the unit first.

The furnace air conditioner was installed with large openings around the filter mount, letting unfiltered air into the unit. 3 inch holes in the ceiling from running the wire for the celling fans, the electricians could not find the end of the wire. Trim was painted the wrong color.

As of November 15 24 weeks after delivery, California Homes Direct has not corrected any of these problems. The manufacture Clayton Homes has been contacted, they say they will assist in getting the house finished.
