To whom it may concern:

As a new home buyer in the Phoenix area we were delighted to obtain through a lottery system the purchase of a house in a new and growing community. The downside was that shortly after moving in we discovered that our new dream house was a money pit due to the shoddy installation practices of an Air Conditioning company by the name of Chas Roberts Air Conditioning.

Only 2 of our four bedrooms would cool down to a livable 79 degrees the other two rooms were at 97. My kids ended up sleeping in the livingroom most of the time, just to cool off. After calling the contractor to fix the problem, while it was still under warranty, I received my first months electric bill of $340. The contractor gave me the information to call the A/C Sub-contractor and so I did.

They showed up about a month later, and after there "improvements" I began to join my kids in the living room, as my master bedroom was now over 90 degrees.

I called them again and after a couple of more weeks they showed up, a different tech this time. After about 2 hours he told me everything was working fine, and that I was going to be charged for this visit.

Now I dont know what to do, only one bedroom has cooling... Oh wait make that one bedroom and my attic. I crawled up there to see if there was something I could see wrong. Boy was there, the ducting to my rooms had fallen off the opening metal things to the room. I called someone else to fix it and now we have cooling in three rooms. I was told by the other company that the run to that room was too small.

I am selling my house and moving to the NW now and I have to disclose the problems "BY LAW" about the cooling problems. Thanks Chas Roberts for costing me a bundle and DE-VALUING my home.
