Ripoff fraud property discript

Gary lawson (coldwell banker) showed me and my partner a 2 lot corner property in may in a subdivison in paynes creek ca. County of tehama and show us the property boundries which we then purchased.

Then the following year we found out that the southern lot was not ours after a year clearing and fixing the lot it was in escrow and being sold to someone else and oroville figgs the rightful owner who lives in the same subdivison waited until we completed the work to put it up for sale.

We quickly informed mr. Gary lawson who is now a broker about our discovery and his answer was that he was sorry about the the situation and felt bad about all the work we did to the property but indeed the land belonged to oroville figgs and that he just assumed the southern lot was part of the deal we purchased and that he made a mistake with the boundries he had showed us.

So we promptly hired a lawyer which contacted coldwell banker and mr. Gary lawson and demand they purchase the lot with in 10 days of recieving the demand because of fraudulent misrepesentation of the property which they denied ever showing us any such lot and as far as they were concerned did nothing illeagal in other words old well so we put a lean on the property for the work as well as monetary value of property sold. This man should have his license taken from him and made to take the real estate exam again.
