Foam Mattress Hard As A Rock

My wife and I ordered a Restful Sleep 8" foam mattress from InnerSpace Luxury Products. They claimed that this mattress was comparable to a Tempurpedic foam mattress (at about half the cost).

We ordered the mattress on the 14th of March and were told that it would take at least 10-14 business days to ship. At the earliest, we expected to receive the mattress around the 1st of April. This worked out well because we had ordered a new bed (upgrading from queen to king) and it was scheduled to be delivered on April 11th.innerSpace said we had 30 days to try out the mattress and return it if we were not satisfied.

Needless to say, we were stunned when the mattress arrived on March 16th. We had nowhere to put it and it wound up sitting in our living room for several weeks.By the time our bed showed up on April 12th (a day late) we had been in possession of the mattress for 27 days. We set up the mattress, followed the instructions and gave it 24 hours to fully expand (it had arrived rolled up). Our first full night of sleep on the mattress was April 14th and we immeditely realized that we hated it. This thing was like sleeping on a brick. It did not conform to our bodies and did nothing but cause further pain in my back.

We decided, however, to give the mattress a few more days to see if we could get used to it. That was our big mistake. On April 18th, I contacted InnerSpace and said we wanted to return the matress. It was then that they told me that I had received the mattress on March 16th and we were over the 30 day trial period. I explained the situation and the fact that we ordered based on a early April ship date, had received the mattress over three weeks early and could not try it out for 27 days.innerSpace could not have cared less. They reiterated their 30-day guarantee and basically said we were SOL.

Obviously, customer satisfaction is not a priority to these people. I have learned the hard way to never buy a mattress over the internet.
