Attn. All Military Personell: Ripoff and Deceptive Furniture Store

On 19 Jan my wife and I bought some furniture from Patriot Furniture in Killeen, Tx. At the time of the sale we were led to believe that the store had the complete order in stock. Danielle Harper was our sales rep. At the time of the purchase and advised us that if there were any problems filling our order that she would notify us.

Well she didn't, on the day of the delivery I had recieved a phone call from the delivery driver (who was at the store location at the time) asking for directions to our home, at no time did anyone tell us the order was not complete. We did not know that the order was incomplete until Daniell Harper called us as the delivery drivers were hauling out of the parking lot and at that time she told us the order was incomplete but by then it was too late to stop them to ask about the our delivery not being complete.

When I called the store we had nothing but runarounds as when we would recieve the rest of our furniture. Eventtually my wife was told we could recieve a refund for the furniture not delivered to us. When I went to the store to get a refund I was told I wouldn't get a refund on any part of the order. When I demanded to see the store manager Mr. O'dell who was the manager for the night told me there was no manager or supervisor when in fact he was. I was very upset by then when the situation escalated and I told Mr. Odell that I would not leave until I recieved my refund I was promised the police were called out accusing me of being hostile. I wasn't hostile I just didn't appreciate being decieved like I was. When the police arrived I was issued a warning not to return to the store so I didn't.

Later after hiring an Attny. I found out Mr. Odell was the manager and Eddie Vale who was also present the night I went to get my refund was in fact the owner of the establishment and was no help in resolving the matter. After a complaint was sent to the BBB, they replied "Will settle to customer's satisfaction: With regard to his demands he is certianly welcome to a refund for the chest he has not yet recieved." this was 7 FEB and now it is MAY no furniture and no refund.

This matter has been brought to the attention of the TEXAS ATTNY. GENERAL'S OFFICE, and the office of HON. SUE MYRICK, and ROBERT BECKER Congresswoman for the State of N. Carolina my home of record and Military Liason for Military Affairs and is currently under investigation for past consumer complaints. I will advise any one not to deal with Patriot Furniture or Patriot Pontiac GMC in which are both affiliated. Know your rights as aconsumer and if you feel you have been a victim from any business investigate it your rights as aconsumer may have been violated and don't be afraifd to persue legal action.
