Former Employee Tells YOU The TRUTH ripoff, Fired me cause I won't lie to consume

I am a former employee of Colders. I worked for them 3 months in 2004 and was "Let go" because I was not lieing to the consumer. I was suppose to refuse to sell a customer bedding under $600 and told to tell them "I refuse to sell you a lesser quality mattress let me show you these" which were $1000 sets and up. If they said they couldn't afford it we were suppose to walk away. I was also told to lie about expected dates on merchandise, quality of products, warranties and more just to get that sale. Often the store manager would not honor simple customer requests like discounts of a few dollars off scratched or old merchandise.

Also the store manager Jeff, was caught a few years ago with a sales associate having sex in his office. Nice store manager!

If you think thats bad the owner Bob Garbutt is worse. He is soooo mean to the employees. He yells at then out loud in front of co-workers and customers for no reason. He yelled at a girl who did not say HI to him. I mean he called her some pretty offensive names. He is the RUDEST perosn I have ever met and worked for.

All in all do not shop at Colders. All they will do is lie to you to get your hard earned dollar. I was let go along with others I have been told who just found it wrong to lie to you, the honest consumer.
