Compay was to complete siding & two new over hangs to house. Paid $6000 they did about a 100 worth of work and now its been 4 months & still nothing more has been done

Hired Company to side house replace front & rear over hangs. Replace front & rear doors. Company said they were waiting for permits on another job they were doing. Therefore, they could complete our job within those two weeks. Company presented a contract to us which stated that they needed a $6,000.00 deposit (Which was a little over of the cost of the job) to start the job.

First & second week no work was done. Company's reply; they were on another job and waiting for the supply. Fourth week nothing was done, company replied; they were still waiting for supply (They Stated it was not easy matching the existing siding and it was taking a little longer to order it). Fifth week they replace parts of the over hang. The contract stated that they were to replace the entire over hang for the back and front door.

Several weeks past and still nothing else was completed. Every time I called they would return my call within 3 to 5 days later only to give me another excuse. Final after 2 months, I advised them if they could not finish the job, I wanted my money back. A week later they return my call and left a message saying they will finish the job when they get there. I tried to get in touch with them but they never answer my calls. I left a message advising them I no longer wanted them to finish the job and that I wanted my money back. They never returned any of my calls. I intent to take them to court.
