Ripoff - delivery charges

We bought a love seat and sofa set and an entertainment center from Rooms To Go one evening and since they weren't in stock had them delivered to our home about 25 miles from the store.

I knew that I would have to pay a delivery charge and that was okay; what I didn't know and couldn't get any satisfaction for was that I had to pay 2 delivery charges because I was buying for two "rooms" - since when is a living room two rooms?

I ended up paying $69 for delivery of the love seat/sofa set and another $49 for the entertainment center. They were delivered two weeks after I bought them. Delivered at the same time on the same truck; but I paid for two deliveries.

A complaint to the store manager fell on dead ears "that's the Rooms to Go policy" was what I got. When I complained to corporate I got the same response albeit phrased more politely.

I have since moved from the area and bought new furniture and you can be assured it didn't come from Rooms To Go and I didn't pay more than one delivery charge for a single delivery no matter the number of items or the number of rooms.
