I wanted to give Stamps.com a try since they interfaced with Quickbooks. It was not readily evident to me how to purchase postage, I called, held for 15 minutes and then was given instructions. I tried this and kept getting messages that the bank was refusing my CC. I tried changing the CC number, thinking maybe I typed it incorrectly. Tried two more times and rejected again with same email. Then I tried calling my bank (this was a whole other issue), finally got a hold of someone at the bank after holding for half an hour and was told that the charges were not even going through to the bank to be rejected.

I called back to stamps.com and after a half hour wait spoke to someone who told me that I had to speak to a superverisor, another 15 minute wait and I finally had my account authorized to charge on my CC. Process took 2 hours from start to finish, when it shouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes.
