I purchased a new HP Photosmart Premium all in one printer specifically because I needed a scanner for a project I'm working on.

I followed all the directions to set it up and the print, fax works but the scanner wouldn't. I contacted HP Customer Support only to be lectured by the CSR assisting me that I installed the software incorrectly. 30 minutes later after I followed her step by step instructions, it still wouldn't work.
I contacted Super Geeks online and spent another $40.00 having them work on it and guess what, it still doesn't work. I've uninstalled and installed 13 times and it still doesn't work.

Piece of trash. Why would HP sell any printer which doesn't include the necessary installation software?

The issue rests with their Solution Center which does not download. I have reviewed countless blogs and tried every single solution but without the HP Solution Center, I cannot get the scanner to work. I have now hooked up a wireless printer with through a USB to make it work as a printer.

My only purpose in writing this compliant is to advise others not to purchase any HP printer systems unless it's from the factory with your computer fully installed.
