Wont recognize resale certificate

I'm a PC products merchant. I bought a notebook out of this ensemble especially for a customer. I tendered my Ky resale certificate upon earning, and was informed they do not recognize resale certificates. Today, I've to pay for duty, after which I've to cost my customer tax on both price of them and also the tax I settled.

They ought to have set the truth that they cost income tax within the record. It never dawned on me they might attempt this fraud!
