Compatability with Microsoft Office

I recently bought a software system that said to be compatable with Microsoft Office application. After I attempt to conserve my task from my notebook to my thumb drive after which start it on the pc with Microsoft application it wont start it. I've invested the final time looking to get it to start my document about the next pc without any success. How do you understand this document to start off my jump drive?
