We took our computer in to have them clean out the viruses. They were fast and fairly priced; yet when I brought the computer back to our office, I found that all the viruses I told them about were still on the computer! I took it back in to them, and one of their employees tried to bully me with 'computer jargon' and insisted that they had done their job, but would look again (to humor me). He called the next day to say they found an empty 'Weatherbug file' so erased and, but the viruses were gone. When I went to pick up the computer he made sure to show me they were missing. What I failed to notice is that they had only gone into the 'admin' section of the computer, not the 'office user' which is protected by a password. Both of these areas are very clearly apparent when the computer is first turned on, so this should not have been a problem, because it was not something hidden from them.

I ended up having someone else do the work; Correctly, but then copied pictures of the viruses found to take back to Computer Connections. They were not very happy when I showed them that they failed to do the job I hired them for, but then after a while, they admitted that it was their fault. When tying to get the refund by the owner Don, he told me he needed the original receipt and then would be happy to do it. I told him that I don't have it, and would have to look for it, but suggested he pull his financial files from the day I made the purchase because his original credit card slip would have the authorization number he is needing for my refund. Don told me that wasn't an option and that I needed to bring in my receipt. Sadly we will be trying to find our original receipt because we want the refund to happen in a timely manner, but customer service at this business is lacking from all employees and it is very sad. The tech that was working on my computer was extremely rude and condescending to me every time I spoke to him. The owner Don was nice when I was paying him, but when it came time for the refund, his customer service skills went right out the window. He was not going to go out of his way in any way to help me. The sad thing is that they are a small, local company which I support, but now I will telling everyone I know to not use them.
