Driver Never Knocked or Rang Bell for iPad Delivery

I have had two attempted deliveries of my IPAD. I was home both times. The first day a box that did not need signature was placed directly in front of the door where it could be seen from the street. (A spot where the package could not be seen was 12 inches away to the left of the door.)
The delivery man did not ring or knock either time. I was home both times. I did not leave home in case the delivery time was off.
Since I was here both times and no delivery, I have no faith that Monday will be better... Then the package gets returned.
