General Electric
Sub Contractor treatment

Clothing & Footwear

I was a sub-contractor for a contractor working for GE.in June they asked me, my fault for not having it in writting, to add some equipment and employees on for the summer months. I did as asked, which was quite costly and time consuming. I promised the employee that I would provide work for him till July 31st. About halfway through June GE/JBC decided that since we were not using said equipment that they where going to cut the daily rate on me. I sent emails explaining my costs and that I would be losing money at this pay rate. They did not seem to care. As the end of july neared I returned the equipment as to not absorb more costs in the negative. GE/JBC then decided to cut the last three weeks of pay since it was no longer being utalized. Long story short; I will be shorted about $7500 in total payments and will actually be in the rears about $3400. I have tried to contact both GE and JBC Product Managment about this. Niether one seems to care. I guess since Im a little guy these big corp. Can flex there muscles and do as they please.
