Ripoff Brakes squeal worse after taking car here. Defective product, slipshod workmanship, refusal to correct mistakes

I took my car to Value Brakes due to a squealing in the front September 30. They looked at it and said I needed new brakes, which they replaced.

The squealing noise was louder and more horrible after I left the shop. Awful noises like fingernails on a chalkboard. After a few days I returned to the store.

The manager at the store refused to look at the car, saying that I got cheap brakes and they were just going to squeal like that. He offered to "upgrade" the pads for an additional fee.

This is not a minor noise. It is an ear splitting noise that can be heard from blocks away. If this is normal then their product is defective.

After four visits to this store and numerous phone calls to the corporate office in Florida, the problem has not been fixed. There seems to be communication issues with the main office and the branches.
