Meineke (Statesville, NC)
They claim you always need something done (Brake Fluid, Brakes, etc.) dont believe them

I went to meineke to have my oil changed. All went well with the oil change. At the end of the oil change I went back into the lobby and someone came out in the lobby to show me the discolorations of my radiator fluid (Antifreeze); What they didn't know is that I just had it changed one day ago by someone who I actually watched flush my radiator and install new fluid.

Next oil change trip back to meineke I pull up in a different vehicle that I just had new brake pads installed on. After the oil change some young man saw me watching him outside and decided to come over and tell me that my brake pads had 25% life left on them and that I should have them changed; I just said no thanks politely and he said "are you sure" I stated "positive" and paid for the oil change and left.

Granted I was smart enough not to be the victim of two scams I want to warn others that meineke is only in it for the money and ready to scam you out of yours; don't trust a word they say if they say you need something extra done. I highly suggest standing outside watching them do your oil change.

The only reason I go here is for the $20 oil change special; I have all my other major / preventative maintenance done elsewhere as I don't trust these guys one bit simply because they give me good reason not to.
