Terri & Mike's Auto Care, tip-off Tried to charge for automotive work not completed and parts they broke!

My husband and I dropped off our work vehicle to this automotive shop, the guy who owns the shop (with his girlfriend) told us he would have the vehicle up and running in no time.

For the first couple of WEEKS the "guy" staied in good contact with us telling us to repair a transmission he needed to rewire the whole electritonal system, we said ok. My husband started to miss out of alot of work with our co. And let the "guy" know how inportant the vehicle is to us.

At the end of the first MONTH of this place having our vehicle my husband started to put some pressure on the "guy" to get the job done, or give the truck back. The "guy" then only called to tell us when he broke a part, and stopped accepting our calls.
When we would stop by the shop ther would not be anyone there, and when we were able to make contact he would give us sobb storied about having trouble with his girlfrieds ex-husband or their kids. Finally after alomost THREE MONTHS we paid a bill of a little over 1400. Just to get the Vehicle out of his shop.

We drove the vehicle down to another auto repair shop due to the FACT that the problem we hired the "guy" to fix was still there and he broke parts that had nothing to do with the transmission! The second auto repair shop had the vehicle fixed in three days.

Wre contacted the Guy and his Girlfried about getting a full refund due to the FACTS that my husband lost three mo. Worth of work and all the so call work he did to the truck did not repair anything.
We had to let them know we would sue, before they would return our calls, then when they finally said they would refund us we had to chase them down for two weeks.
We finally got a check back for 1400. When we tried to cash it - it BOUNCED.

After two days of calling to find out when would be a good time to cash the check (and letting them know that due to the check being for such a large amount that the state atturney could press charges) they called us back to let us know they deposited the moneys into the wrong account and the check would clear the next day. Today is that day - We are still waiting for the check to clear.
