I was over charged for auto repairs

I hired Owens Auto Salvage to change the rear shocks on my '98 grand marquis. I supplied the new shocks. They charged me $100 becuase the said they had to remove the springs that were just installed. I have never heard of someone removing the spring from a vehicle to replace the shocks. The auto repair book that I have says that it should take. 32 hours to perform this job. The last I knew repair shops charged by book time not actual time espicially when you do what you were not asked to do.
