Heritage Administration Services Rip-Off Breach of Contract

We bought a small RV and purchased an extended warrantey with Heritage Administration Services Inc. Everything was fine, until La Mesa RV, the place where we purchased the unit, stopped doing business with Heritage.

Our refrigerator stopped working within a couple of months of the purchase. The agent at the RV place called Heritage and got a verbal authorization to order parts. At that time, Heritage, according to our agent, did not request a written authorization form, but did authorize the parts order. Between the time the parts came in and the time the parts were installed, the relationship between the two companies came apart. Heritage then said they wanted to "inspect" the vehicle after the parts had been installed. They subsequently denied our claim.

We were told by La Mesa RV that verbal authorization has been done on a continual basis, the parts are covered, so pay the fee and seek reimbursement. Heritage has refused our reimbursement, has refused to give us the agents name, or any corporate officers name, and said to file a claim with their company in Nebraska.
