JD Byrider / CNAC ripoff vehicle had problems not mentioned by salseman, it booked for thousands less

Last year my husband and I needed to get a vehicle fast, so we went to JD Byrider. We bought a NICE looking truck. The sales guy made it sound like we were getting a great deal, he even knocked off a few hundred dollars off their asking price. Well, we were really needing the truck that day and we were a little nieve about how much certain vehicles book for, so we went for it.

First, the truck showed a full tank of gas, not 20 minutes away the truck died. We had to call AAA to tow us to the nearest gas station where we discovered that it was out of gas—the gage was stuck on F

Nearly four months later the clutch went out. We took it back and they acted like they were doing us a favor by fixing it for $200 (they claimed they replaced the clutch). Nearly 2 months later the clutch went out again, this time we took to a local shop, they replaced the clutch for less than $200 and said that the clutch was in such a bad shape that there was no way that it could have had that much damage in just 2 months

Only when we went to insure it did we find out that it had been wrecked two times before.

Beacause of the 23% interest rate we decided to refinance through our bank, we then found out that our truck books for $2000 less than our principle at CNAC. Now we're stuck with CNAC because we cant get a loan on a vehicle that much over book value.

As far as CNAC goes I have had two checks go back because the checks went through before my deposits, accidental. I wasn't trying to rip them off and when they called about it I Western Unioned them the payment plus a 30$ returned check fee the same day. Now they say that they can't take a check from me any more. Can anyone tell me if they can do that?
