False advertising, car lemon, hybrid car doesnt work

Bommarito sold us a $38,000 Buick Lacrosse Hybrid. Bommarito claimed the car gets 35mpg, which is the reason we purchased the vehicle. The Buick Lacrosse however, seems to only get 24mpg.

We took the car back to Bommarito, they offered to switch us to another non-hybrid Lacrosse, losing several other package add on features such as blind side warning, heads up display, at an additonal finance cost of $8000 out of our pocket.

The dealer never bothered to try and see why the car was not getting 35mpg or something even close. I believe its because they knew from the start that GM is false advertising the 35mpg. If the car got something close to that, we wouldn't mind. But 24mpg, when your selling it as 35mpg hybrid, thats out of line.

Bottom line is, Bommarito sold a vehicle that does not performe as advertised and are not willing to stand behind the product; even though we spent $40,000 with them.

Buyer beware at Bommarito. What ever goes wrong, is your problem, as far as they are concerned.
