Larry sheth rip off, rude, liar

I went to this place because they advertised free a/c check. My boyfriend explained to the owner Larry Sheth that we wanted to see if they can detect the problem. Larry was nice at first and said they would charge us for coolant and the dye that will show where the leak is coming from. We said ok. While his mechanic was filling the car with coolant and dye Larry Sheth talked to me and my boyfriend for over an hour about how we should "trust" his work and his business, how they work on high end cars, that they do sooo many a/c jobs, that we should be "confident" and "trusting" that he is reputable and credible basically filling us with lies to get our money. We were very polite and listened to him. After his mechanic was done he drove the car around and said he "checked" for any leaks. He said the car must not have a large leak because if it did he would have been able to detect it immediately. He said to come back in weeks or months when it starting blowing hot air again so he can tell us where the leak is coming from.

We gave them the money and left home which is 5 minutes away from the shop. The car sat at my house for a day and the next day when I went to go somewhere the a/c was blowing hot hot hot air!!! We took the car back the next day because Larry said to bring it "tomorrow". When we got there his mechanic looked at it and said there was a large leak from the condenser... We went back inside to talk to Larry. We told him this is something that your mechanic who does "so many a/c jobs" should have detected the same day... Larry got rude and defensive and said no I must have hit a rock on my way home and caused a hole in my condenser which is why its leaking. I told him I live 5 minutes from here and simply went home. Larry said "I dont know what you did when you left here" implying that I was not telling him the truth. I told Larry, you expect your customers to trust you but you dont want to trust your own customers. He said "75% of my customers are liars" I told him I am not 75% of your customers.

I continued to tell him I brought my car here for this problem, the issue here is your mechanic did not detect it when he should have now causing me a loss of $90 with no coolant left. I told him you sat there that day filling me and my boyfriend with lies about your credibility and trust and you dont want to have that in your customers. He said he would not give me a refund he denied that his mechanic should have detected the leak the same day and implied that I was being dishonest and must have caused the problem on my 5 minute drive home. The most ridiculous thing ever. He was rude, a liar, and a rip off. He was implying I caused a rock to hit my condenser I could have easily accused his mechanic of poking a hole in my condenser, since it is an $800 job to repair.

Such BS, his mechanic failed to find the problem that same day. He lied to us, fed us bs about his company and was very very very rude and disrespectful to us. He didnt offer any solution or apology. DONT GO HERE!!! I have never been treated so poorly by someone in the service industry as I did with Larry Sheth. Stay away from him and his shop!
