False Pretence illegal tint refusal to give receipt

Took my vehicle in to have front driver and passwnger windows of my 2012 SUV tinted. When I picked the vehicle up, I asked for my receipt and warranty information. At this point I was told that the darkness of the tint they installed was illegal and therefore the warranty was void. The individual stated that "you said you wanted it to match the back". I was unaware that the rear tint from the factory was too dark to have installed on the front windows, and would not have had it done if I had been made aware.

I went back into the store and demanded a receipt for my cash payment, which they reluctantly gave me after much discussion. The receptionist commented "we try to not leave a paper trail on these". I informed her that they were going to give me a receipt for my payment before I left, which she did.

Now I have an illegally tinted vehicle simply because of this business's shady pratices of going around the law. Again - I was NOT informed that it was illegal to tint the front windows as dark as the manufacture tint on the rear windows. I went into the store, ask how much it would cost to have my front 2 windows tinted to match the rear and he gave me the price. I was also NOT charged any sales tax!
