Dropped the car off and turned in all the paperwork and was waiting on my daughter to pick me up and was standing in the parking lot. I was called back into the office and was told that there was damage to the car and was forced to fill out a form or the local police would be called. The dent was a very small one they must have just caused it as the area were they clean was very small and had other cars in the area.
I could have fixed the plastic bumper if I had a hair dryer an 5 minutes as the common practice for these little dings is to heat them up and they will pop back to the original form. So I get a demand letter for $363.30 for what the complete bumper.
Any attempts to talk with Hertz is met with auto attendant and once you get a person to talk they forward you into the very same auto attendant and your into a circle jerk that never ends. These people are ripping folks off - no other explanation.By design you get no customer support with anyone who can help you out.
