Dynotronics Inc
DP Tune Inc Botched an ECU reflash

Cars & Transport

I sent the ecu for my 2011 Kawasaki ZX10R to Dynotronics to have a reflash performed almost a year ago. I spoke to the owner of the company beforehand and he seemed confidant there would be no issues. Sadly, this was not the case.
When he returned my ecu it had an error code in it. But it would start the bike, and run although it was down on power. I spoke to him again, and tried to gauge whether he could or couldn't fix it. He told me the software in the ecu was proprietary, and only he could fix it. Left with no choice, i payed to ship it back to him.
When it returned the second time, it was wrecked. It would no longer start the bike at all. He wanted to take yet another shot at it. I payed a third time to ship it back to him, but told him I would only accept an unflashed replacement since it was clear he had no idea what he was doing. I finally recieved a replacement in December. I wasn't given a refund until the end of April, after almost 11 months. And the refund was fifty dollars short of what I paid, and since he sent it thru paypal I got hit with fees.
Completely and totaly unprofessional, easily the worst customer service I've received throughout the whole of my life. Stay away from dynotronics, or dp tune. Or whatever company name he's going by to dodge the BBB.
