Closed Bathrooms

I'm writing to bring your attention to a problem with the experience at Taco Bell. The restaurant I'm referring to is at Lampasas, TX.

My family had just left a fireworks show and we needed to use the restroom—especially my 4 1/2 yr old daughter and myself. We stopped at your local store. Our clocks said right at 10:00 (closing time) and there were customers who were waiting on orders, but the doors were locked.

I explained we needed to use the bathroom, but were refused. An employee came outside and I explained that we had a bathroom emergency and if we could please use the restrooms. She said that the store closes promptly at 10 and no one is allowed inside since they were robbed over a year ago. I asked not even to use the restroom and she said, "Sorry, I don't make the rules" and locked the door.

I have no plans to eat at your establishment again. Also, I don't plan on recommending you to people I know. I will definately let my friends and neighbors know about the lack of customer concern your employees show to the community members.

Here is how I would like you to address my complaint: I understand precautions and regulations taken to protect your employees, but this was a blatant show of lack of customer care. Since we had just come from the fireworks show for our summertime festival 2 blocks away, the location was getting LOTS of customers—we were not the only people there. Management should have extended store hours (more business) or at the very least, let us in as we were not any kind of a threat.
