Incompetent customer service! Charged my checking account twice and then gave me the run around to give me my money back

After I had a huge hassle with quote being changed drastically and no one knowing why it changed so much. Then for whatever reason I just didn't stay away from the company. After I spoke with people for literally four hours. I authorized them to take the down payment from my bank account. My first STUPID mistake!!!
Then to my great surprise they charged my bank account twice!!! When I called them to ask why this had happened that stated that they had already sent out a letter to reverse the charges. Well as anyone knows this takes some time.
When I called back Unitrin to demand my money. They told me this must be my fault because I know too much about the how long this disaster will take. Of course the accounting office was closed and no one anything about accounting in the building now so I will have to wait until someone decides to return my call to find out when I will receive a refund!!!
Stay away from Unitrin Direct the rates are cheap and so is the customer service!!!
Nnow I am stuck because I have so much money tied up with them that I do not have the money to get a policy from a decent company!!!
