Complete Liars

I took my vehicle into auto lab located in Avon, IN. I had heard mixed reviews of the place but you never know until you deal with a company for yourself and there is not to many service shops in the avon area. Upon arrival the place was immaculate truly one of the cleanest service shops I have seen other than dealerships besides the manager did seem very "Country" and maybe a little "Dirty". My one complaint was there seemed to be people just kinda hanging out behind the desk very laxed so, The reason for my visit was my vehicle was overheating after sitting at lights for long periods. I had a coupon for free inspection so I decided to get thier opinion. They got to my vehicle very promptly as they seemed as if they had no customer which did worry me. But they are fairly new business. So as I sat there the person upfront pretty much played on the computer the whole time but was friendly. After about 45 minutes I was told that my head gasket was leaking and that was the cause for my overheating and was going to be really expensive at this point I really didn't even want a quote as I know that I cannot afford this service. Everything seemed very fair and honest I didn't really pay much attention to anything I thanked them and went on my way. I phoned my husband and told him and he said that we should at least get a second opinion. So I did we took it to our regular shop for a second look and to my suprise they came back and said I needed a new hose thermostat and my coolant flushed. The total was $378.13 my vehicle has been running perfect every since then. I am not very savvy with the internet but I started searching online for auto lab and was amazed to find allot of bad reviews on the avon location in the I believe they have been open for a few months now and it seems as if the few months the have been open they have recieved several complaints. I can tell you there are much better repair shops in or around the area I will never visit a Auto Lab again and would recommend you do your research before you do. I am sure you will find many reasons not to visit them they send out allot of "Free" coupons to look good but in reality they are lying on what they find. God Bless
