Rip-off... DOT inspection Truck dealer repair over charges 3 times the amount

I have used Santex International in San Antonio Tx for a little over a year to service my trucks, (all Internationals). Once a year we are required to conduct a annual DOT inspection. When I received the bill on the annual inspection from them I compared them to bills I received from all of my other divisions, (9 divisions from Nashville, Tenn. To Phoenix, Ariz.)

In comparing the bills I found that Santex Int. Had charged me two to three times what other divisions paid for the same work. After talking to the owner (name unknown) another gentleman who represented himself to me as the service manager, and the actual (I was told) service manager, I was politely told that if I could get the job done cheaper then by all means, take my work elsewhere.

The sad fact is I have no alternative but to utilize an International dealer for some things (warranty). All in all I have found that in all the International dealers that I deal with, the majority are like Santex Int.

In all fairness I have three dealers who are excellent. I have since made arrangements with a reputable Co.in San Antonio to take care of my maintenance needs.
