They over charge for services and tell you that repairs are needed when nothing is broken

I took my vehicle to the Tire Choice location in Tampa, on Racetrack Road.

The tech stated I needed new brakes and new rotors.in my opinion the rotors could have been turned... They advertise a $149 brake job... Which would cover turning the rotors, new pads and installation...

I was over charged for a front brake job. I paid $448 and at most, it should have been $250 to $290. So, my first major complaint is that they over charge for their work. I know this to be of fact because since getting the job done at The Tire Choice, I have gotten prices from other garages who would have done the same work for much less.

After I was ripped off by The Tire Choice and the repairs were completed, I called Adv* Auto Parts and new rotors cost as low as $39 each.

Secondly, they told me I needed new bearings on 3 of my 4 wheels... But recommended all 4 to be done because the 4th would probably go bad as well... The Tire Choice quoted $1100 for that repair.

My vehicle (a small SUV) is under an Extended Warranty. I took it to the Ford Dealer and the Service Manager said, "there is absolutely nothing wrong with the bearings. And he would be happy to fix
something that is under warranty, but nothing is wrong with the bearings."

I am not one to complain, but on the other hand, if I get ripped off as in this case, I want to make sure others do not.

I will no longer do business with Tire Choice and will promote to others to stay away from this company. Get quotes from other garages and stay away from this company!!!
