We signed a four year contract on October 5 with Go Rv Warranty. This was to cover our fifth wheel travel trailer that we live in. A couple of weeks later we our landing gear failed. We were in Illinois visiting family. We contacted the warranty company and an RV dealer to make the repair. Presley RV in Decatur Illinois was very rude and didn't act like they wanted any new customers.
After numerous trips to Presley RV for estimates and to have a representative from GO RV inspect the unit we were denied. Presley RV told the warranty company that the repair would be 1500.00. The warranty company told us that the damage was done before our contact was initiated and they were not liable for the repair. After a couple of days of discussion with the Warranty company we asked for our contract to be cancelled.
I received the paperwork and sent it in after numerous phone calls. The hoops we had to jump through we ridiculous. Finally on November 30th they received all of the documents for cancellation. I talked to Steve Adams in the cancellation department and was told it would take 30 - 60 days to receive credit of $1220.00 to my Visa card. I found this outrageous but this is government policy supposedly. It is not January 30th and I still have not received my refund.
