Abes towing
Abes contacted for aaa tow by police, then doesnt take aaa for crash

I was in an accident, in the boro of chambersburg pa. I was at fault. The police called Abes towing for a aaa tow. They would not take my aaa for crash. I was told, aaa does not cover crashes. And would not take it to where I wanted car towed to. Had to take it to their lot, where they could charge storage yet. On top of the $150 for tow. Also gave me the run around when I needed personal items. Dave was quite rude to me.

So I could have just called another tow company that I know, that would have treated me with respect. Which turned out was on call that day, but since I had aaa, the police called abes.

Why are they being called for aaa jobs directly? If aaa would have been called, they would have had to run tow thru aaa, and take to my house like I wanted. OR would have said then it wouldn't be covered.

In the end, my insurance company paid them $400. Tow, clean up & storage.

I had the other tow company tow it out as soon as abes would release my car.

I am not the only person that this has happened to.
