Ripoff would not give authorization to repair, ignored mechanics requests for payment florida

I recently purchased a 2000 chevy pickup with a fidelty warranty. I payed the $40.00 to transfer the warranty from the previous owner to myself.

A few weeks later I started to hear a grinding or growl in the rear axle. I took it to the shop to have at looked at. They determined a bearing was bad in the rear differential.

They called fidelity who sent a inspector out to drive it. Then he and the mechanic opened it up to inspect it. He took pictures and e-mailed them in to the claims department. We waited two days-nothing!

The shop finally called them and they said the estimate was too high with genuine gm parts and that they were going to check around for used or aftermarket parts and that they would call back that friday. Friday passes and nobody calls! Monday I call and the person handling the claim is no where to be found!

Finally Monday afternoon they get the ok to repair with gm parts.

Two weeks pass and the shop still had not been paid!!! Finally I had to get involved and fax the bill myself. They would only pay half of the invoiced bill! Which they said originally they would pay all of!

Also they said they would pay for the car rental but when they found out the car was from the shop thy said the could only accept a car rental from hertz or enterprise rental!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are famous for shifting you from one person to another and not returning calls!!
