Ripoff - 3 months after rental they claim 415 dollars damage to vehicle

On January 29th I rented a van from Armada rentals. I turned the van in February 2nd as agreed. Yesterday on May 4th, I received an invoice for $415.00 dollars for damages to the vehicle.

The letter said to pay them in 30 days or else... There was no damage to the vehicle at all and the five people who drove with me in the van all agree to this fact. The van was returned in perfect condition with a full tank of gas. I went down to the Douglasville office to find out what damage they were talking about. The manager, a man named Anthony Thomas, told me they had no record of any damage and that I had to call their corp. Office. I told him that I believed this was fraud and that I was going to take action against this, then threw me out of the office and off the premises. He said I was threatening him! Nuts.

I called the corp. Office and Mitch Brrezillac, from their claims department, started telling me what they were going to do to me to get the money. I asked again what the damage was they said " scratches on the door and "something" on the front". This is an exact quote. There was nothing wrong with the van at all. It was returned in perfect condition. This is fraud. It's a lie. I asked why they hadn't called me right away. Why wait over 90 days latter to send me a letter without any particulars about the alleged damage. He was silent.

I'll bet they are doing this to other people as well. I will never pay them a cent. Believe me. Please help.
