Mueller Auto ripoff repossesed car broke the rules and stole personal belongings

Me and my husband purchased a 1994 ford mustang from Mueller auto in August we moved to Las vegas for an employment opporunity for my husband litte did we know that the company was going to close its doors in Dec. 2003 we became behind on our payments but we bought the car for 6500.00 and only owed 1200.00 they came and took the car in nevada they have to let you retrieve your belongings from the car and your license plates. I called to talk to Rick mueller I told him we would pay the balance of the contract if they would leave the car he refused and said we we're going to owe him upwards of 3000.00 by the time this was over i asked to get our stuff before they left the state he refused again.

2 days after the car was taken the Twin falls police called and asked why the repo guy was driving our car they didnt know at the time who he was according to them he was hot rodding the car. When we came to idaho to pick up our things some stuff was missing they said it wasnt there. We went back a few days later and the car wasnt running the salesman said it hadnt run since the repo guy parked it and that it had been driven from las vegas to twinfalls every time we asked for a balance to retrieve the car it was different every time they sold the car with out sending us a intent to sell letter.

I know that car sold for more than we owed on it but we never recieved any surplus go figure. We had also talked to local attorneys who said Mueller auto was notorius for breaking the rules so consumers beware we are also filing reports with the attorney generals of both states.
