I paid a down payment of $1000 to Leroy Shankle on APRIL 13 for the purchase of a 2001 PONTIAC GRAND AM GT as is for $2500 from, his friend, ANGELA MOORE. As I stated to MR. SHANKLE, before & after signing the contract, I don't know anything about cars, but if he states nothing is wrong with the car, then I'm ok with it. Mr. SHANKLE then stated to me if anything is wrong with the car, he would either help pay to get the car repaired or I return the car and he'd get my money back. At that time I wasn't aware of the personal relationship between Mr. Shankle & Ms. Moore. The agreement was to obtain the car when the $1000 deposit was paid & pay the remaining balance at $300 monthly. The first week I had the car, it was giving me problems. I took the car to AUTO ZONE on APRIL 27 & had them test the car for any electrical and/or mechanical issues.
