Sellers remorse (dont buy from here)

Pasadena Auto Dealer, is a company who I advise you NOT to purchase any car from them. I had called them and made an appointment to see a car, when I went there to see it, I found out that the daughter of the owner was driving this car to college, and I was not able to see it. I had spoke to them again and they said tomorrow it will be at the showroom. The next day I called before going there and spoke to the owners wife. I told her I was going there to see this BMW 745li that they had advertised online. She said ok it will be there.

I had arrived to find out that the car wasnt there again, and that the owner changed her mind about selling the car. The Manager who spoke to me was on the phone and said that they (the owners were at the auction house buying a replacement car) were at the auction. The manager processed the credit application and it was already approved and ready. 20 minutes later the manager talked to the owners again, and then he passed me the phone. When I spoke, she hung up on me. Finally 15 more minutes the owners showed up and she would not even look at my face, she went straight to her office. Her husband who was looking on line was trying to find a car, they NEVER went to the auction.

The manager asked me to give him a few more days and I even helped them to find a car, but they didnt want to do anything. They claim to have been in business for 35 years, but I cant see how this is possible. This is a sellers remorse, and collection of private data and social security information. I have in turn put an alert on the 3 credit systems, as I want to make sure that they are not using the information for illegal activites. There shop is small and they collaberate with other dealerships in the area to sell cars. I spoke to the other place whom they said they own, but the people said no, they just work together is the other has a car up for sale.

I ended up buying 760Li instead of the 745li, but I went to a big bmw dealership. This pasadena Auto dealer is a sketchy one. They didnt call me to say sorry or anything, then the manager has the nerve to say "you call me back in 20 minutes" excuse me but it should be him to call me, not me chase him.

I suggest when dealing with this small dealer, make sure you can buy the car, not go thru the whole thing and find out later that the car is no longer available.

I wasted time, money and of all things now they have my social security number, address and financial information because of the credit application.

I have asked my Attny to talk to law enforcement CCAT (they check dealerships for suspicious activity) and DMV to file a formal complaint.
