Ugh. Total Rip Off!

DO NOT use PlatePass when you rent from Hertz! It is a total rip-off! OF COURSE it's in the fine print, but Hertz does not tell you when you rent their car that if you use PlatePass ONCE, it will charge you for every day you rent your car!

I went on a long trip and made sure that I paid ALL of my tolls on the way there. On the way back, there was only ONE toll that I didn't have money for, so I went through it thinking that I would only have to pay $2.50 for PlatePass. Even though that is a serious rip-off as it is (if they only charged you for ONE day), they ended up charging me the cost of the toll PLUS $2.50 PER RENTAL DAY! Even though I only could not pay ONE toll of ONE dollar on the way home from my trip! This company disgusts me. I suggest not EVER using PlatePass! I will definitely be telling all of my family and friends about this. Shame on PlatePass and Hertz for ripping people off!!
