Purchased a cadillac 2005 devile have had the vehicle for almost a year this past week the company calls me to tell me that I dont have any insurance and the carpayment I made on 7/29 which was due on 7/30 that took it and applied it to me not having any insurance was unaware of this transaction. Received a call this past monday urgent call saying I need to call them asap because I owed a balance of 155... I asked for explanation was told that my car payment was applied to me not having any insurance without any notification. I than verbalized to representative I hve always had insurance, I was amazed that the company did not know I had insurance since Georgia is one of the states that reports no insurance to the Department of Motorvehcles within 24hours, I call my insurance faxed them a copy to the attention of named person. Hoping this would resolved the balance and apply it back to my payment. Only to get a call made to my employment three days later stating that I need to call them asap about a deductible paperwork was received stating I did have insurance but do not have a 500 deductible, my deductible has always been 1000 why the late notification. Spoke with the manager who stated to me that my car was in review for reposession. Due to late balance of 155. I have never heard of anything like this, I have advised the manager will not make another payment which is due august 13 until past due is resolved because they do have my proof of insurance and I changed the deductibel to 500 I was told today 8/11 until and if resolved If I make another paper it will be applied to the balance which will leave me owing the august 13car payment I am in the process of contacting a legal department
